Yesterday, the boys had their third Tadpole Troopers class of the season. The theme this fall is nocturnal animals and we learned all about owls yesterday.
This is not an owl chick but the teacher has pet chickens and brought her five-day-old chick for all of us to see and touch.
The boys touched owl down
and then made owl masks. Henry did not want many feathers on his. 
After our craft projects, all the new owl experts took a nature walk to end the class.
