Henry at 3

Henry turned three in March and I thought it was about time I dedicated a post to Henry and everything he is up to at the ripe old age of three!
Henry is my wild child. He has no fear of anything, except perhaps doctors. He is a rough-and-tumble little boy who is sure he can do everything his big brother can. As a result of his fearless nature, he does get hurt a lot and is always covered in bumps and bruises. He usually doesn't cry too much when he gets hurt unless it really does hurt a lot.

Henry has boundless energy and can literally run circles around me. He doesn't like to sleep, even when he is really exhausted. He never naps at home (only at school) and then fights bedtime like crazy! He is chock-full of excuses about why he can't go to sleep (he needs fresh water, he has to go potty, he needs another hug, etc.). When he does fall asleep, he usually ends up sideways or backwards on his bed. Sometimes he stretches out across all his pillows or uses the pillows for his feet instead of his head.

Henry loves puzzles (and is amazingly good at them), books, music, Baby (Brown Bear), and going on adventures. He loves to play outside with chalk and Play-Doh and just run around. His brother is his best friend and they play so well together, most of the time! Henry has a great imagination and can go from being a pirate one minute to pretending to be a fire ant the next. He loves to help in the kitchen and the kid can eat like no one I've ever seen. We can't figure out where it all goes sometimes! The only thing he doesn't like are the crusts on his bread.

Henry is determined and opinionated and sweet and loving. He gives good hugs and loves to be with me all the time. He is definitely a goofball and is very funny and makes us laugh a lot. Henry is an awesome kid and I'm so glad I get to be his mom!
