The Tree

We picked out our Christmas tree yesterday! We always say we're going to go cut our own, but then we always take the easy route and get it from a store. Fortunately for us, Kroger had a lot full of some 350 trees to choose from just two minutes from our house.

The boys helped pick their tree and then waited patiently for me to return with it. Can you see my car across the street with the tree on the roof? So excited! Gene made the boys touch the tree while I pulled in to the driveway. Tree on the roof! Somehow the boys ended up with my camera for a little while. This is from Henry's perspective. And Will's view. This year we got a noble fir instead of our regular pine tree. It's beautiful and tall and is perfect for the library. Gene got it all set up and we started decorating!
