On Thursday and Friday, we had three parties to attend at the boys' schools. The first was Will's Winter Party. All ten Kindergarten classes piled into the cafeteria for an hour of food and crafts. You would think that with over 200 kids, it would be complete chaos -- but it wasn't! Will was so excited!Peppermint tree decor Place card Chick-Fil-A for lunchCookie-decorating craft Eating the icing right off the knife is always the best part. On Friday, Will's teacher invited us to a writing celebration at the end of the school day. Will was thrilled that both Gene and I could be there. The kids have been working hard on their Special Gifts book project for the past several weeks. Each child wrote about why every other kid in the class is special and Mrs. Power compiled the pages into a very sweet book for the kids to take home. Will's book is full of 21 pages about why he is special (he is nice, he likes yellow, he is a good friend). It's a very sweet gift that I know we'll treasure for years to come. After Will's writing celebration, we stopped at home for a few minutes before heading off to Henry's Christmas party. Everyone got rockin' reindeer antlers! Three amigos : Noah, Henry and Kalino Sweet preschoolers We had live music from one of the dads! So cool.Gift exchange Henry was number seven. Got the gift. Dinosaur stamps!! So awesome! More cookie decorating and icing to be eaten off the knife You know sneaky Henry stole the sprinkles to eat. Craft time. The boys decorated snowflake ornaments with glitter glue. The teachers sent us home with Christmas gifts. The paper was made by the kids with sponge stamps. The kids wrapped the gifts too!
This handprint ornament was our beautiful gift! Three parties, two days, one very happy family!
