The Children's Museum: Take One

Will had early dismissal yesterday, so the two of us spent a couple of hours exploring the Children's Museum before we went to pick up Henry from school. 1pm on a weekday is the perfect time to go. There were no crowds at all!
We started off in Kidtropolis, where Will did a great job cooking and cleaning up in the diner.
Then he took a quiz to see what career matches his interests.
It came as no surprise to me that Will is investigative. Dream jobs for him include being a scientist, engineer, doctor, biologist and the like.
Will is always asking questions about how things work, and once he finds out the answer, he is more than happy to explain it to anyone and everyone!
The kid loves gears, and these are new at the museum.
We also explored the traveling exhibit, "Attack of the Bloodsuckers!" which is all about mosquitoes, ticks, leeches and the like. Will really doesn't like mosquitoes because they eat him alive, but he did enjoy using the science tools to examine the critters up close. And we ended the visit with a little puppet show at the Bibbity Bobbity Boo Puppet Palace. Next up is some one-on-one time with Henry at the museum this afternoon!
