A couple of weeks ago, Henry told me that his sandals were "biting his feet," so I knew new shoes were needed at our house pretty soon. Stride Rite is our go-to store for kids' shoes and they had a sale starting yesterday, so the boys and I were off to buy some new shoes. Normally, they are not very picky about shoes or clothes (they are boys after all!) but this time they did have specific requests.
Henry just wanted blue sneakers. He got them and thinks they are so cool! He also picked out brown sandals with a bit of orange peeking through.
Will just wanted light-up shoes like his friends at school have. I am not a huge fan of light-up shoes, but Will's are pretty cute. They flash when he walks, of course, but they also glow in the dark and are "slimers," so they actually have green slime in them! What a perfect shoe for a four-year-old boy!
Will loves to stomp his feet to make his new shoes light up!
