O is for octopus and owl and oatmeal! We had so much fun with our O week.
The boys helped me make oatmeal one morning. And of course Will got to see the famous onion volcano at Tokyohana on Saturday night.
We turned our capital O into an owl and read lots and lots of owl books. Our favorites were Owl Moon by Jane Yolen, Owl Babies by Martin Waddell, and White Owl, Barn Owl by Nicola Davies.
Then we made our lowercase o into an octopus. The boys loved reading Cowboy and Octopus by Jon Scieszka. We had an outstanding O week!
