The boys and I went to feed the ducks at a nearby duck pond yesterday. I love this sign as you're driving into the neighborhood. It says it all!
We haven't been to feed the ducks in ages, so we went over all the rules: don't touch the ducks, don't get too close the water, throw the bread to the ducks, and don't eat the bread. The boys did great. The only rule they broke was eating the bread. They both munched on it, freezer-burn and all!
Will kept throwing bread into the water to lure this group of ducks to us.
It worked!
The ducks near the parking lot were none too hungry and we had lots of bread, so we had to walk way around the pond in search of some hungry ducks. Will practiced walking backwards over the bridge. 
Then we saw a mommy duck with her six little ducklings.
They liked our bread too.
And when all our bread was gone, I took my hungry little ones to Chick-Fil-A for a special, freezer-burn-free lunch. Yum!
