A Birthday Dinner

After our adventure at Old MacDonald Farm, the whole family came back to our house for a celebratory dinner (in our new and improved dining room!).

Pop tried to get Henry to hold up two fingers to show that he is two. They had a lot of fun.

For dinner, Gene made codfish cakes, shrimp, and kale soup and we had crusty bread from the Farmers' Market. Yum yum yum. Can you tell everyone in this family likes to eat? We talk about food a lot! And we write about it, and take photos too.

After dinner, we opened some presents. As you can see, Henry had his big brother helping him out.

Henry loves the new books and trucks he got.

This rocket puzzle is a big hit, since Henry loves rockets.

Henry's new favorite phrase is "more presents." Yep, after almost a week of opening presents, the kid is officially spoiled!
