Zoo Lights is one of our favorite Christmas traditions.
I bought our tickets weeks ago for Friday night, without really considering the possibility of rain. And of course, Friday's forecast called for a chance of rain! We grabbed raincoats and umbrellas and set out for a wet adventure through the zoo with masses of other Houstonians who apparently were not perturbed by a few spotty rain showers!
The lights really are beautiful.
Most of the animals were snoozing, but we did see big cats (cougars, caracals, and lions) and giraffes.
The Enchanted Forest was new this year.
Henry was fascinated by the garden railroad.
Will loved the electric sheep.
We all had so much fun.
Zoo Lights is a definite must-do holiday tradition for our family!
