December is a busy month for birthdays in our family. My Vermont niece, Ella, turned three yesterday, Mary turned five 10 days ago ago, and Uncle Mike's birthday is this weekend!
We spent Friday afternoon and evening celebrating Mary with a special dinner at Nana's house. This dinner was extra special because both sets of Mary's grandparents were there!
I made campfire cupcakes (think s'mores in cupcake form) for dessert.
We topped them with roasted marshmallows.
I found these jumbo campfire marshmallows at the store, but they look ridiculous (tasted good though), so in the future, regular large marshmallows are the way to go!

The rest of the evening was spent reading, playing on tablets, snuggling baby David, and just enjoying each other's company.
