Field Day

The boys had field day on Thursday -- rescheduled from the Monday before Thanksgiving, which was a cold, wet, rainy day. The forecast for Thursday was kind of iffy, but the rain held off and the boys had a blast.

Henry's class had field day at 8:15 am. Go Lox's Lightning Bolts!

The day started out very warm and muggy. The kids were all in t-shirts and shorts!

Henry's first event was the obstacle course.

Cheering on his class!

Bean bag relay.

My boy!

By 10 am, the cold front had started arriving in Houston and the temps were dropping fast. The kiddos were getting chilly but we still had to cheer on our tug-of-war team!  Lox's Lightning Bolts won!

Will's field day started at 11:45 and by then the cold front had definitely come through. You can see everyone had their layers on!

Will's class was Marshall's Minions.

I love their minion gear!

Some of Will's events: sack race

and bean bag relay.

Cheering on the minions!

Will and one his best buddies.

We love field day and were so very happy the weather cooperated for the rescheduled date.
