Mercer with the Vermont Cousins

My parents are watching Leo and Ella for a couple of days while Amber and Tom celebrate their 10th anniversary in San Antonio. My boys and I joined the cousins up at Mercer Arboretum yesterday for a morning of exploration.

The four cousins at Mercer!

Ella loved all the pretty flowers.

She's on the go here because she spotted some fountains up ahead.

My two cuties.

Too much sun, Mom!

Leo was having fun, too.

Will and Henry were so excited to show the cousins the maze!

And then we found the bluebonnets, so I took lots and lots of pictures of the kids in the bluebonnet patch.  Love love love!

After about 45 minutes exploring the botanical gardens, the kids were ready to eat, so we drove over to the other side of Mercer, had our picnic lunch, and then played hard at the playground.

Back in Kingwood, everyone relaxed for a bit before playing again at Gramma and Grampa's playground. And did you know yesterday was Pi day -- 3.14 (March 14). Get it? Gramma had leftover birthday pie for the kids so they celebrated Pi day with pie!

We had another fantastic day with the Vermont cousins!
