SO BIG!!

After Henry's cast came off on Thursday, he decided to try climbing out of his crib again. Gene surprised us by coming home from his trip a few days early, so Friday was the perfect day to switch out Henry's bed. Henry's crib doesn't covert to a toddler bed, but Will's does, so we just set up Will's old bed in Henry's room.

Henry was really sad to see his blue bed leave and kept asking us to just "fix" his blue bed. In case you don't know, blue is Henry's absolute favorite color. We tried to make it better by telling him his new bed is the same color as Brown Bear. It kind of worked.

This was Henry's first nap in his new bed. He did really well, and clearly fell sound asleep!

Will always likes to help me get Henry up from his nap.

But clearly Henry was not quite ready to wake up just yet!

So far, Henry is doing pretty well in his big boy bed. He doesn't leave his room, but yesterday's "nap" turned into playtime. I think he's just getting used to the idea that he can get in and out of his bed on his own. So, in the course of just a couple of weeks, Henry has been potty trained and has moved into a big boy bed! How did my little baby get SO BIG??
