Goose Egg

I got a call from the nurse at Will's school yesterday afternoon and had to go pick my big boy up early. During a rougher-than-normal game of tag at recess, Will got shoved hard and crashed onto the concrete. The result? A big scrape on his arm and an enormous goose egg on his head.

I'm not sure the picture really shows how large the bump is, but believe me, it is BIG. It is also scraped up and red and looks like it hurts a lot.

Nurse Paula reported that Will was very brave (no tears) and that he's a talker. And that he won the award for largest goose egg this year. I'm not sure that's an honor we wanted, though. Ouch.
