HoneyDew the Clown

The library is one of my favorite places. The boys and I go to one of our neighborhood libraries at least once a week and we always have around 50 library books checked out at any given time. But yesterday, we went to the library to go see HoneyDew the Clown!

She was visiting the library as part of the Summer Reading Program and the boys were so excited to see her!  

HoneyDew performed all kinds of magic tricks and brought her friend Bob (can you see the black spider popping out of the box?).

And at the end she made balloon animals for each child.

The boys chose balloon swords so they could play pirates together.
And of course we left the library with another huge stack of books, including two more for me! Next week, they're bringing ferrets to the library. Can't wait!
