Maine 2015: Days 5 and 6

Our fifth day of vacation was a travel day. We drove from Vermont to Castine, Maine, which is a long drive, but the boys were good sports. We stopped a few times to eat and get out and stretch.

We found this little footbridge in West Danville, Vermont.

Also in West Danville was this statue of a lone sentry on Joe's Pond.

We stopped for lunch at The Water Wheel in Jefferson, New Hampshire

and found a fun playground in Gorham, New Hampshire.

The highlight of the day was eating lobster rolls at Carrier's Mainely Lobster in Bucksport, Maine.

We had a rainy morning on our first day in Castine, but the big kids played on the school playground anyway!

After lunch at home,

the skies cleared up and we spent the afternoon at Wadsworth Cove with the cousins.

The cousins had such a good time building and splashing and playing together,

and we ended the day with a delicious lobster dinner.
