Lately: Henry's Thanksgiving Program and Field Day

The boys have been working hard at school lately! Henry's class performed a Thanksgiving Program for family and friends. This is the invitation he created.

The program included poems, songs, a play and a bit of history. Henry presented part of the history of the Pilgrims.

So cute! Here he's dancing the "Turkey Tango."

The kids worked so hard for weeks on memorizing their lines and their hard work paid off. The program was so sweet!

His teacher passed out these adorable turkey cookies after the program.

Henry was thrilled to have so many guests at the performance too. All four grandparents were there, and of course Gene and I wouldn't have missed it. We also pulled Will out of class to watch the show!

Thanksgiving week was a short week (1 1/2 days of school), so our school held field day then. Henry's field day was Monday afternoon. Go Wood's Wranglers!

My cowboy!

Ready to start the games!

Henry participated in the hurdles, sack race, hula hoop pass and obstacle course.

Dad was there to cheer him on!

Will's field day was on Tuesday. Beware of Inman's Indestructible Sharks!

Will participated in the shoe relay, sack race, baton relay, hula hoop pass and tug of war.

Field day was so much fun!

More pictures from the long Thanksgiving break to follow!
