The End of Soccer and Other Happenings

Will's soccer season ended this week! Here are the Soccer Wizards before Tuesday night's make-up game.

We are so lucky to have played with (mostly) the same kids for the past year. These boys have become good friends and their own little soccer family.

This season, we had two wonderful coaches who both out there at every game ad practice with the boys, working with them and encouraging them. The boys have improved so much and play so hard!

I love soccer season and am sad to have it end, though it looks like we'll be back out there in February, with both boys playing!

Our final game of the season was last night and we ended with a team party at Little Matt's. One of the other moms picked up these wizard hat cookies for the Soccer Wizards. Cutest cookies ever!

And when we haven't been busy with soccer and eating cookies, this little munchkin has been devouring the cheese. He made a double helix with his string cheese and asked me to take a picture!

On Wednesday, Will had an early release day so we headed to the Health Museum where we found a huge exhibit of skeletons.

And now that fall is finally here, we are outside as much as possible. Henry and I try to have picnic lunches at least once a week at a nearby park, and yesterday, we went to the newly opened Fire Truck Park in Southside Place. It was so much fun and we can't wait to go back!

Soccer may be over for now, but this little family has lots more adventures ahead!
