Vermont 2018: Days 2 and 3

Gramma and Grampa joined us in Vermont, and we all went blueberry picking at Pelkey's Blueberry Farm. I'm not sure how many pounds of blueberries we picked, but it was a lot! The boys and I snacked on them all week and took them down to add to our breakfast each morning.

Just starting!

After blueberry picking, we headed to the Addison County Fair and Field Days. We visited farm animals, watched the pig races (always exciting), rode a bunch of rides, ate fair food (including more maple creemees), watched a tractor pull, and generally enjoyed our outing to the fair.

The boys begged for deep-friend Oreos and then declared them the "best food ever."

More farm animals.

The fair was really fun and the boys said it was their favorite part of this trip to Vermont.

On Saturday, we visited Shelburne Museum in the morning.

The jail is always a must-visit spot.

Somehow, we had never visited the school!

We spent another evening with the cousins (four kids, two books, one hammock!)

and celebrated the summer birthdays

with a delicious chocolate cake.
