After taking a break for a few seasons, the boys are both back playing soccer this spring. The boys have practice once a week, on the same night at different locations, so Gene and I divide and conquer and we make it work. Games are once or twice a week, often back-to-back at different fields, but the boys are having fun, getting lots of exercise, learning new skills and making new friends, so it is definitely worth the time commitment.
Henry's team took their name from their jersey color, so they are the Green Guys.

Henry really enjoys playing soccer and his team plays really well.
Both boys play recreational soccer, but in Will's age group, they have referees, keep score, and have rankings. The season culminates with playoffs in May.

Soccer is definitely keeping us busy, but it's so much fun to watch the boys play and improve their skills.
