The boys had their Fall Holiday on Friday so we took advantage of a free day to check off another Cub Scout Go See It, or field trip, for Henry's Tiger Cub den. We visited the West U Examiner newspaper office, had a tour, and learned all about how our weekly local newspaper works.
We had about 15 boys total and they were so well behaved!
Visiting a newspaper office is a part of a Bear achievement as well.
After the newspaper visit, the boys and I enjoyed the beautiful fall weather with a picnic in Memorial Park.
We also took a short hike at the Arboretum. It was too beautiful not to be outside!
The boys found a mound of centipedes.
Can you tell how much Henry loves being a Cub Scout this year? I think he would wear his uniform every day if he could!
