'Tis the Season!

'Tis the season for breakfast with Santa!

Our church held its annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday morning. It was our first time to go, but I think it will be a new Christmas tradition for us. Henry proclaimed it "the best day of his life!"

After breakfast and meeting the big guy, we visited the craft stations and made reindeer food. Oatmeal plus glitter = a special treat to sprinkle on the lawn on Christmas Eve.

Then we trundled off to Henry's school to pick up a gingerbread house, just like last year.

The St. Paul's Choir makes these amazing gingerbread houses every year and we cannot resist buying one. 'Tis the season!

Then we pulled down all our Christmas decorations and started decorating the house, inside

and out. Henry was Daddy's big helper with all the outside lights.  

We don't have our tree up yet, but the front yard is decked out,

and the boys are happy.
