Pop

Nana is on a little getaway right now, so we invited Pop over for dinner on Sunday night.
Gene made Bacalhau a Gomes de Sa, which is a codfish, potato and onion casserole. Delish! Pop didn't come empty-handed. He brought a bottle of Vinho Verde (perfect for hot summer nights!) and his famous Spanish-style mushroom caps. Yum!
I don't even like mushrooms, but I love these mushroom caps! They are filled with chorizo, parsley, lemon juice and a sprinkle of fancy salt. Thanks for sharing a meal with us, Pop!
