Henry has received a couple love letters. This one from Will says: "I love you Henry. P.S. I think you are ahead of your grade."
And this one is from his little friend Pearl at school. It says, "You make my heart beep faster, Henry." Four-year-old love!
Last week, on our way to school, we saw the most amazing clouds in the sky. It's called altocumulus mackerel sky because the clouds look like King mackerel.
They were incredible! The boys said the sky looked like a painting.
And speaking of painting, I got to help out with Will's Hands-on Art class a couple weeks ago.
They learned about Van Gogh and painted a self-portrait in his style. Here's Will's masterpiece.
Meanwhile Henry has become the master artist on the Magnadoodle. Here is his Bird on Nest.
Katy and I went bridesmaid-dress shopping on Saturday. We were searching for gowns in coral, peach or blush which is quite the challenge with our coloring. We spotted this number at Saks. It didn't make it to the fitting room.
We had a lot of laughs but were surprised by the number of dresses that didn't look hideous on us. These are two of our options.
And look who finally started piano lessons yesterday! We've had our piano for over a year and Will has gone back and forth on wanting to learn. He decided about a month ago that he was ready. It took us a few weeks to find a teacher but when we found Ms. Anne, we knew it was a perfect fit! She is great with him and he is so excited to learn.
As soon as we got home from his lesson, Will ran to the piano to start practicing his first two songs! He is doing great.
That's what's up with us, lately.
