We celebrated Chloe and Bella's birthdays yesterday with a morning full of outdoor water play, an indoor craft project, pizza, fruit and cupcakes, and, of course, presents! Belinda threw her girls a joint girls-only princess party back in May, so we conspired to get together this summer to let my boys celebrate with their best two buddies! Belinda put so much effort into this second party just for my guys but it was so much fun! All of the kiddos loved the water slide best! Baby Nicholas even got to try it out! These are my best group shots! Will was trying to eat everyone with his toy shark.Happy, wet boys! After feasting on pizza, loads of fruit and a yummy snack mix, it was cupcake time!Happy 5th birthday, Chloe!
And happy 4th birthday, Bella!Magic candles! The girls blew them out again and again! Then we made a super cute craft -- painting stencils on backpacks! I didn't get a pic because I was helping the boys, but it was fun! Next up were presents. I am not in-the-know when it comes to girls' gifts so I kept it simple with a board game that we own and love (eeBoo's Fairytale Spinner Game is awesome if you don' t have it!) and two not-your-typical-prince-saves-the-princess princess books (The Frog Prince, Continued by Jon Scieszka and The Paper Bag Princess by Robert Munsch). Happy birthday, Chloe and Bella! Thanks so much for inviting us over and letting us celebrate your special days with you. We had a blast!
